How do I register for a seminar?
There are a number of ways you can register for a seminar, click here and choose the seminar you'd like to attend or:

• Register online
• Call 800-246-4540 during normal business hours 9am-5pm EST.
• If you received a brochure in the mail, you can drop it off at the host location, mail it in, or fax it to 703-991-0248.

What are the hours of the seminar?
For most seminars, check-in begins at 8:00 am and the seminar schedule is 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with a 90 minute lunch break. But please check your specific seminar page to verify the times.

What is the dress code?
Casual. Jeans/shorts welcomed.

Can I use this as a tax deduction?
The expense of continuing education, when taken to maintain and improve professional skills, may be tax deductible. Please contact your accountant for details.

What is your cancellation policy?
If you are already registered and cannot attend, you are welcome to send someone in your place. If you cancel your registration up to ten business days before the seminar, we will refund your registration less a $10 enrollment charge.

I don't have a laptop, should I still attend?
Yes! A laptop is not required since everything is written step-by-step in the workbook. If you do have a laptop (Mac or PC), you are welcome to bring it to the seminar. There are some power outlets and free wi-fi (at select locations).

I have an older version of Photoshop, will this seminar still be helpful?
Absolutely! Even though some examples will use features exclusive to CS4, most will not. A general rule of thumb for John's seminars is that for every version of Photoshop you are behind there will be about 10% of the Photoshop examples you won't be able to do. So with CS3, you should be able to do about 90% of the stuff covered, CS2 about 80%, CS about 70% etc.

Definitely! We need a lot of help to pull this event off! If you'd like to help with setup, check-in, prepping materials, please contact us.

I run my own business, can I attend this seminar?
Yes. Even though the examples will be ministry and church focused, the techniques apply to all kinds of promotions and graphics.

I am a college student, can I get a discount?
Yes, for most full-day seminars, if you register in advance we have a student/teacher rate of $39. A valid school Photo ID will be required at check-in on the date of the seminar. If you register at the door it will be $45.

My son or daughter would like to attend, can they come?
Middle school and high school students are welcome to attend. Please use the student discount rate (if available) when registering them. Younger students are also welcome to come with an attending parent. Elementary school students also qualifiy for the student discount rate (if available) and parents should pay the current registration price. We've had children as young as 5th grade attend the seminar before.

I can't make it to the seminar, is John going to be doing another one?
John is planning to do the seminar in a number of different cities, check his schedule here. He would love to be able to do one in your area, but it will depend if there is another church or organization that wants to host the seminar.

You are welcome to pay the current registration price for the workbook and pick it up the following week/weekend (even though you can't attend), there are several people doing that. The Graphic Secrets seminar will be available on DVD at the end of September. The price will be approximately $75 for the DVDs and Workbook. There are also a number of John's other seminars available on DVD with the workbook.

I purchased a Photoshop Training product online, how long does it take to arrive?
Photoshop Training products usually ship out within 1 business day from date ordered. Single disc orders ship out via USPS First Class mail (3-5 days). All multi-disc training products ship out via USPS Priority Mail (1-3 days).
